Far from being a merely administrative agenda, internationalization — when pursued with equity and intentionality — embodies the values of dialogue and mutual understanding that underpin a culture of peace.This roundtable brings together academics and institutional leaders from diverse European and Global South contexts to examine five interconnected dimensions: student and staff mobility, joint degree programs, European University Alliances, internationalization at home, and institutional partnerships. Through short, structured interactions, representatives will introduce their institutions, highlight key strengths, and explore initial areas of mutual interest. The focus is on building a strong foundation for further dialogue throughout the week.

Building on initial connections, this session focuses on the exchange of academic programmes, institutional practices, and internationalisation strategies. Participants will share insights into their offerings, discuss challenges and opportunities, and gain a deeper understanding of each other’s strengths. The goal is to move from introduction to meaningful knowledge exchange.

The final session is dedicated to turning conversations into concrete opportunities for collaboration. Participants will explore potential partnerships, identify areas for joint initiatives, and discuss next steps for future cooperation. The focus is on creating actionable outcomes and strengthening long-term institutional relationships.
